HISTORY OF THE LONGY B&S BALL

The Longerenong B&S Ball has a rich history, originally linked to Longerenong College. Over the years, the event has evolved significantly. In its earlier days, the Horsham Apex Club 15 supported the event by managing the bar for what was then known as the Seeders and Strippers Ball. In 2008, the Horsham Apex Club officially took over the organisation of the event, rebranding it as the Longerenong Seeders & Strippers Ball.
Since then, the Ball has been hosted at various venues before finding its permanent home at the Blue Ribbon Raceway site. Each year, the event features a unique, agriculture-themed slogan, which is printed on collectible stubby holders and ute stickers—both included with every ticket purchase.
The Longerenong B&S Ball is entirely planned and run by dedicated volunteers from the Horsham Apex Club. These members generously contribute their time and energy to ensure the event’s success. Thanks to their efforts, the Ball has raised significant funds over the years, all of which have been reinvested into the Horsham community.
These contributions have supported local projects and provided essential equipment that benefits residents across the region.
